About Us

Founded in 2015, the Renewable Energy Vermont Education Fund (REVEF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides public education, outreach, research, and community engagement to drive Vermont’s clean energy future. Through REVEF, we’re raising public consciousness about the many benefits of hydro, wind, solar, energy storage, and energy efficiency in Vermont.

Each year, the REV Conference, the largest comprehensive renewable energy gathering in the region, is made possible with support from REVEF. It is where business leaders, policymakers, regulators, and others gather to share ideas and build a path to a 100% renewable energy future. With support from REVEF, the REV Conference features a Women in Energy Breakfast as well as free student admission.

REVEF is also the Vermont coordinator for New England for Offshore Wind, a coalition of dozens of environmental groups, labor unions, business groups, and others working to speed the deployment of offshore wind to meet New England’s electricity demand via renewable energy.
